Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and product directives
CE marking and product compliance
In short
When you import a product into the EU you take on the obligations of an importer under EU product law: the product must carry the CE mark where required, your name and address must be on it or its packaging, and you must hold the declaration of conformity and technical file.

A CE logo printed by the factory is not a declaration of conformity. Market surveillance authorities ask for the file, and the importer is the one who has to produce it.
