EUDR, the deforestation regulation

In short

EUDR requires operators placing certain commodities on the EU market to prove the goods are deforestation-free and legally produced, with geolocation data for the plot of land. Wood and wood products, including furniture, are in scope.

If you import wooden furniture from China, this regulation is about you, and the data has to come from your supplier's supplier. Start asking before you place the order, not when the container sails.
